Whatever name you put in front of the word Analytics – HR, Workforce, Human Capital, dashboard, metrics – we are hearing lots of hype in the HR world. And it’s a good thing. But how do we move it beyond a trend and develop the knowledge, expertise and insight to implement HR analytics in our workplaces which allow us to answer operational business questions?
So I am pulling together an Analytics community of interest here in Brisbane so we can begin to learn from each other, local experts and perhaps even encourage international experts to share their insights and wisdom.
Currently, I am working with the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI) to see if we can establish an Analytics Forum as a local member event. While the forums are fee for AHRI members, non-members can attend for a nominal fee. The forum will be a morning event and will hopefully convene 3 or 4 times a year.
But I need your help!
Along with the proposal to AHRI, I need to demonstrate that there is interest – a minimum of 30-40 potential attendees – who are interested in the forum and topic on an ongoing basis.
So, send me an email, contact me on Twitter or message me through LinkedIn ASAP – by Wednesday 17 December 2014 – and I’ll add you to my list.
I’ll just need the information you’d normally have on your email signature and let me know if you are currently an AHRI member or not. You will receive a confirmation email from me that I have received your infomation and you have been added to the list.
